  Prof. Dr. Anke Schmeink is a Professor at RWTH Aachen University since 2012. She spent several research visits with the University of Melbourne, and with the University of York. She is a member of the Young Academy, North Rhine-Westphalia Academy of Science. Her research interests are in information theory, machine learning, data analytics and optimization with focus on wireless communications and medical applications.
