The 1st Workshop on Resilient Networks and Systems (ReNeSys)
We organized the 1st Workshop on Resilient Networks and Systems (ReNeSys) in conjunction with NetSys 2025 in Ilmenau! Staying true to our philosophy, the workshop was created by early-career researchers for early-career researchers, this time reaching a broader audience beyond the Resilient Worlds community. Dr. Doğanalp Ergenç, Dr. Shadi Attarha, and Dr. Peter Wägemann from our team dedicated significant effort to compiling a comprehensive program that brought together researchers working on resilient networks. Several members of Resilient Worlds also contributed as TPC members.

The workshop featured eight accepted papers, each presented in 20-minute talks covering a wide range of topics on network and system resilience. In addition, we hosted two keynote speakers: Prof. Dr. Guevara Noubir and Dr. Joachim Sachs, who delivered inspiring talks on secure and robust wireless communication. A Best Paper Award was presented to Sascha Roesler, congratulations to him and to all other authors for their outstanding research!
From our perspective, ReNeSys was a great success. The accepted papers are available in open access at TU Berlin’s repository. . We look forward to welcoming everyone to the second edition next year!
