Phase II Kick-off Meeting
After a highly productive three years in the first phase, Resilient Worlds continues with new projects and brilliant researchers! This week, we met in Berlin to kick off Phase II. The PIs of seven new projects and four continuation projects presented their inspiring ideas and plans for the next three years to build resilient networks and systems. The presentations covered diverse topics including fault-tolerant wired and wireless network design, the application of AI/ML for resilience, and hardware and software security. Dr. Florentin Neumann also joined us to provide the latest updates from DFG and to present several opportunities to support our early-career researchers.
While our focus is primarily on scientific discussions and identifying potential collaborations for the future, the kick-off was also a great opportunity to get to know each other better. We celebrated the beginning of Phase II with a team dinner! Resilient Worlds will continue with new projects, research schools, workshops, and meetings. Stay tuned for updates!
