Resilience Talk by Prof. Walid Saad

This month, Prof. Saad was our guest speaker in Resilience Talks.

In this edition of the Resilience Talks, we welcomed Prof. Walid Saad, who explored why advanced AI systems still fail in physical environments like autonomous vehicles and drones, and introduced AGI-native wireless systems as a solution. He leveraged digital twins alongside perception, world modeling, and action-planning to build AI agents with human-like reasoning and generalization. For the latter, he further proposed active inference to equip these agents with the ability to adapt to surprising, unseen scenarios. This does not only mean making them smarter - but also resilient against such unforseen incidents!

Resilience Talk by Prof. Saad with the title "Why AI Still Can't Handle the Physical World: AGI-Native Wireless Systems for Physical AI".

We thank Prof. Saad for this great talk! Stay tuned for the next Resilience Talk!
